This pano is in response to the invitation to look for old pieces (N. 19628)... it is truly old, as one can see!
That day I woke up at at the Rifugio Lobbia Alta with a severe weakness and violent vomit, I don't know why. I told my friends to go nevertheless, since I planned to wait for some company to safely ski down in direction Presena and Tonale. But nobody happened to come. While awaiting, I was continuously looking in direction Pian di Neve, where the growing trace of my friends was pointing. At a certain point I thought: maybe that this beautiful sun will heal me... and this actually happened. I reached my friends on the top few minutes before shooting this pano, eight photos with the Powershot G9. Then we skied down to Ponte di Legno through the classical Pisgana valley, which is considered one of the longest and most rewarding descents in the Eastern Alps.

Giuseppe: sí, poi che salendo il malanno sia scomparso del tutto è una versione un tantino romanzata... in realtà dopo la cima, andando verso Passo Pisgana, ho vomitato ancora - comunque date le premesse è andata di lusso!
