As we say in Italy, "non c'è il due senza il tre", that is, "there is no two without the three". Hence, after Terza Grande and Bivacco Tiziano, here is a third Madonna from Cadore.
That there is no two without the three is confirmed by the fact that also this location, as the previous ones, is totally unknown to both Alpen Panoramen and Panorama Photos - as well as, luckily, to mass tourism. All this in spite of Danta di Cadore being one of the most panoramic villages in the Alps: its position on a wide, open meadow high over Cadore on one side and Comelico on the other side, may indeed be regarded as an unicum.
Who is not satisfied with three Madonnas, may have a look at
picasaweb.google.com/albertopedrotti/Dolomiti5gg
where one finds no less photos of churches and villages than photos of the Dolomites in themselves: after all, we are in Italy!
Eight images, 35 mm (x 1.5), 1/250 sec, f/11.
