Today I was ready to extract, from the queue of waiting works, an old image from Val Venegia, but I saw that there was already one by Giuseppe Marzulli taken no more than 100 metres away.
So, I switched to the following day and to a handful of metres higher up, finding an unpublished work which is actually the same N.26587. They are both taken from the same panoramic SE shoulder of Cima Bureloni, but this one was taken during the descent, maybe one hour later. I find this more interesting mainly due to some lively clouds who meanwhile developed over the Lagorai, I do not remember why at the time I chose the other one. In any case, this is not enter competition with Giuseppe on the topic "Val Venegia", since from this shoulder this valley remains totally hidden. This is the price that you pay to have a totally free view over the wonderful, deserted Pale tableland.

Here the Pale and the neighbouring Dolomites become particularly pale due to my current preference for cold colors - just compare with the version of one year ago. Actually, I reloaded the picture abandoning the foolishly cold white balance of the Canon camera, but the change should be barely noticeable.
Gianluca: si sente che sei entrato anche tu nella cerchia del Dolomitisti...
Patrick: qui la scialpinistica di riferimento è quella della Fradusta, con salita dal lato San Martino di Castrozza, usando o non usando la funivia a seconda della voglia, e discesa sul versante sud, fino al Cant del Gal in Val Canali. Un giro che purtroppo non sono mai riuscito a fare con gli sci!
I think that the main difference is the color profile used in Lightroom, now I am experimenting with Neutral. Seems to be more manageable, especially for Patagonian blue skies.
