In spite of thorough research, I has never been able to locate all these saddles...
So, I believe that the name originates from a corruption of a single saddle, namely, the nearby Forcella delle Conelle, which in the Mocheno language is called "Sensattel". This Sattel has become at one time Sette by ear and Selle by meaning... whence the claimed abundance of saddles!
Not far from here, the Kaserbisn, honest meadows with some huts, have become... Kaiserwiesen and/or Prati Imperiali! Even nowadays you can meet culturally-oriented visitors wondering whether such a remote location grew to its imperial qualification because actually some emperor visited it, or just because of its beauty...
Cheers, Alberto.
