Nice point of view - did you reach it with or without skies?

Rudeferia, in ladin language "little river by the forge", is one of the "viles" (small villages, in ancient times self-sufficient farmhouses) on the orographic right side of San Cassiano valley. After touristic development of Alta Badia, the main road runs lower in the valley, so these nice places are quite calm and far away from chaos... You can reach Rudeferia by foot (or, in winter, by ski or schneeschu - so did I) from the upper San Cassiano, crossing amazing woods of larches and firs. From here, in less than two hours you can reach the Ospice of the Holy Cross (Heilige Kreuz, Dlijia dla Santa Crusc) - cfr. my # 4217.
You're right, Alta Badia's beauty deserves much more panoramas !!
