I don't understand the three stars by Michael and Walter - obviously, 'cause I don' understand German!!! For me the light and the landscape are well rendered and realistic. By the way, the real name of Passo delle Selle Hutte is very unusual and curious: Bergvagabunden Hutte (sorry for the mistakes...).
From the shooting point begins an extraordinary path that runs over the whole ridge of Costabella group, using old First World War tracks, and it's named Alta Via Bepi Zac. It's not simple - especially in spring, due to snow - but very very panoramic.

@ Alvise: I was really in doubt giving 3 or 4 stars - don´t get me wrong - I think the place, scenery, sharpness are fantastic - and Costabella Ridge is hopefully a main target for my next trip to the dolomites! oops - I just deleted my old comment... Walter and I just thought the shots were taken using different aperture. :-)
Zwar etwas unterschiedliche Licht - (bzw. Belichtungs-) verhältnisse - aber tolle Herbststimmung und knackige Schärfe! Die Bergvagabundenhütte hängt wirklich schön am Grat oben. Vielleicht lassen sich ja mit EBV noch die Bildübergänge etwas glätten - das Motiv hat in jedem Fall **** verdient! LG Michael
