I colori sono ancora tardoestivi, ma la prima neve inizia a disegnare i contorni delle cime.
Scendendo dalla cima del Toblacher Pfannhorn la luce si è un po' ammorbidita. Vale sempre la pena tentare una panoramica verso sud e ovest. Il rifugio è all'ultimo giorno di apertura; siamo gli unici italiani, ci sono soprattutto valligiani e gente del posto, una simpatica orchestra suona musiche tirolesi perfettamente in sintonia con il luogo e il momento. Non potremmo chiedere di meglio. Le prime avvisaglie di instabilità atmosferica creano bei giochi di nuvole.
The colors are still late summery but the first snow begins to draw the contours of the peaks.
Coming down from the summit of Toblacher Pfannhorn the light has softened a bit. It is always worth trying a panoramic view towards south and west. It's the refuge's last day of opening; we are the only Italian people, there are mainly villagers and locals, a nice little orchestra plays Tyrolean music perfectly in tune with the place and the moment. We couldn't ask for better. The first signs of atmospheric instability create beautiful "wolkenspiele" (is that correct?).
